Kia ora! I'm Tyza
I am of Māori and Samoan heritage, proudly connected to many iwi (tribes) across Aotearoa, New Zealand. Born and raised in Porirua, just north of Wellington, my roots run deep in the culture and community that shaped me.
Driven by a passion for growth, I’m always seeking new ways to elevate the quality of my work. Whether I’m producing videos or delivering services, I strive for efficiency and excellence in everything I do. I continually look for opportunities to improve my craft, discover greater happiness, and take pride in my work—ensuring that every project reflects my dedication to learning and progress.
It all began with a deep passion for aviation.
I’ve always been curious about how things work, especially in the world of aviation. One day, I combined that curiosity with my love for flight, diving headfirst into the world of FPV (First Person View) drones.
Starting from scratch, I learned how to build drones, select the right components, and assemble them for optimal performance. I didn’t do it alone, though. In Aotearoa, there’s always a supportive community willing to help, and I was fortunate to connect with many like-minded enthusiasts. Back then, FPV was still new, and many of us were learning together or pushing the technology forward.
As drone technology has advanced, so have my skills. My passion for improving my gear naturally led me to explore DSLR cameras. Now, I combine FPV drones, video cameras, and off-the-shelf drones in my filming, allowing me to capture a wide range of scenes in diverse locations.
